Keychain Scanner Lead Retrieval Equipment

Turn leads into sales with less time and effort. Prompt, accurate follow-up is one of the most
important elements of your trade show participation. Using the keychain scanner is an easy, foolproof way to collect, save and use lead information.
The keychain barcode scanner was used successfully by the Construction Expos last year. The exhibitors found them easy to use and their leads were ready for them to take back to the office on the last show day.
The scanner reads a one-dimensional (1D) barcode which contains the visitor's identification (ID) number.
Because there is less data in a 1D barcode than in a 2 dimensional barcode, the keychain scanner reads the data very quickly, and then saves it to memory.
To retrieve the leads from the scanner's memory, bring it to the Lead Retrieval Service Desk at the end of the show. MACC personnel will download the lead ID numbers, transfer the visitors data (name, company, address, etc) from the show database and copy it onto a diskette in ASCII text format and print out a list of these leads on paper.
The leads from the diskette can be imported in Excel, Access, ACT!, Goldmine or your favorite word processing program. No more going back to office with a fist full of papers and business cards to key into your software before you start the follow-up.

We have added additional capability to the lead retrieval system. How would you like to know what you discussed with a person who visited your booth as well as having his name, company, address, etc.?
HOW IT WORKS
Scan the barcode on the person's badge with your pen scanner to capture his/her ID number from the barcode. Make a note of the 5 digit ID# in the upper right corner of the badge on the lead sheet. Say goodbye to your customer and write a little note under the ID number on a pad about his visit, e.g. hot lead, or interested in widgit #34556, etc. No need to write the name on the pad. When you turn in the scanner at the end of the show and receive the disk and printout of the show leads, each lead will have the person's ID number and you can link your notes to the list of show leads.
Below is a sample badge with the ID number in the right top corner in big numerals so it is easy to read.
